The old wizard Mendalick appears...
...only to turn into his own dark half next instant
The first floor of the tower begins, and with it the quest
Leaving right now wouldn't be a good idea!
You gain HP by finding strength potions in chests
Also, you automatically equip the better weapons and armour you find. And yes, the game is heavily preachy, which contributes to its uniqueness.
The game's story is mostly told through the visions you have and the voices you hear
Some puzzles can be tricky
The voice speaks true! Both voices do.
Sometimes, there's no escape from sudden death inside a trap room.
Be wary of the paths you choose!
So much treasure! All yours for the taking!.. Or is it?
The evil apparition, always trying to complicate things
Impatient? Don't be, lest you're left without both your weapon and your armour!
Black to white, white to black... It's so confusing
Many a deep word of wisdom awaits you in the game!
The closer to the top of the tower, the more hellish it gets
Charity is an important virtue, Avatar!
The game just loves to mock you in any way it can
Another trap room. Dammit.
Beware: some enemies are invisible or blend with the environment
And some monsters just aren't supposed to be overcome
You will curse at this bridge hard, and many times
The transition to... pots?
Make sure you bring a present!
